Participação das mulheres na política é tema de live com deputada estadual Leci Brandão
Dando continuidade às ações do mês de luta das mulheres, a ADUFSCar, em parceria com o SINTUFSCar, realiza, na quarta-feira, 06 de abril, uma live com a deputada estadual Leci Brandão (PCdoB/SP).
O encontro pretende contribuir para o debate sobre a participação feminina nos espaços políticos e institucionais, e também abordará outros temas.
Leci Brandão candidatou-se ao cargo de deputada estadual por São Paulo no ano de 2010, tendo sido eleita e reeleita em 2014 e 2018. Seu mandato dedica-se especialmente à promoção da igualdade racial, ao respeito às tradições de matriz africana e à defesa da cultura popular brasileira. É a segunda deputada negra da história da Alesp, atuando também na questão das populações indígenas e quilombolas; da juventude, em especial pobre e negra; das mulheres e do segmento LGBT.
