O Observatório do Conhecimento, o Centro de Análise da Liberdade e do Autoritarismo (LAUT) e o Observatório Pesquisa, Ciência e Liberdade da Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência (SBPC) apresentaram a primeira fase de resultados da pesquisa “A liberdade acadêmica está em risco no Brasil?”, que trouxe dados alarmantes sobre a segurança para fazer Ciência no Brasil. Dos 1.116 cientistas que participaram da pesquisa, 58% afirmaram que conhecem experiências de pessoas que já sofreram limitações ou interferências indevidas em suas pesquisas ou aulas.
